International Motors, LLC, part of the TRATON Group, manufactures commercial vehicles, engines, buses, and aftermarket parts while developing solutions that improve customer uptime and productivity. The Supply Chain Analytics - Data Scientist  will analyze complex datasets, improve demand forecasting and delivery reliability, build reporting and visualization solutions, and support data-driven process improvements across supply chain, production, and logistics functions.
Drive data quality improvements in commodity specific demand forecasts
Troubleshoot and confirm Supplier forecast accuracy inquiries for internal and external stakeholders
Collect, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple business systems
Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify root causes and corrective actions that will avoid future production downtime and expedite costs
Build dashboards, visualizations, and automate current reports using Microsoft PowerApps, Co-Pilot AI, and PowerBI
Monitor KPI performance to identify process gaps impacting both customer satisfaction and on time delivery performance
Recommend and support implementation of process improvements that enhance delivery reliability and responsiveness for top customer accounts
Conduct ad hoc analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making
Support digital transformation and analytics initiatives across the Production and Logistics organization
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Finance teams to improve processes through data-driven decision making and problem solving
Help improve forecasting accuracy through advanced analytics
Provide meaningful insights to suppliers that drive performance improvements
Identify opportunities to improve delivery reliability for key customers
Streamline reporting processes and reduce manual data analysis efforts
Become a trusted data partner for Production and Logistics leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field and no experience
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field and no experience and will obtain degree prior to first day of employment
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
