Air Liquide is a global provider of gases, technologies, and services for industry and health. The 2027 ALLEX Engineering program introduces college students to the industrial gas industry through rotational assignments across technical, operations, project, and business functions, or through specialized base operations tracks. Participants develop engineering knowledge and practical experience before transitioning into full-time roles.
Three, eight month rotational job assignments, this track is structured to accelerate the development of critical industry knowledge, practical skills and hands-on experience
Participants rotate across Technical, Operations, Project, or Business functions, collaborating with various teams across the organization
The program provides participants the opportunity to work on challenging projects that foster innovation and creative thinking
Upon successful completion of the program, participants transition into a full-time position within the organization
The ALLEX Base Ops Program Participant is designed for candidates that are interested in pursuing a technical path and strengthening and developing their engineering knowledge
Rotations are pre-defined by our technical experts
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be placed in a plant engineering role before returning to a technical role
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Expected graduation of May 2027
Minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale)
Must be able to provide own daily transportation to/from work
Must secure and finance own housing
Previous co-op or intern experience required
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
Must be open and flexible to relocate anywhere in the US during and post program
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data
Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision making skills
Able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization
Comfort and ability to work within ambiguity
Willingness and desire to travel and remain mobile during and upon successful completion of the program
