Account Manager - Southwest

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate FARO Creaform technology to interested and / or potential customers
  • Participation to trade shows, technical events, open-house, sales meetings and other sales events
  • Ensure steady and organized follow-up on sales opportunities through emails, phone calls, etc. to ensure the expected level of sales and a sales cycle as compact as possible by using the CRM system
  • Clearly identify and communicate all customer needs and specifications in order for the ISS to prepare the quote
  • Act as point of contact and provide technical support and regular follow-ups to potential customers during the evaluation period
  • Report progress of all ongoing sales activities on a weekly basis during team opportunity-review, provide sales forecast and participate to forecast review meetings
  • Develop a large network of contacts and clients within the designated territory in teamwork with the Strategic Account Manager and the Sales Manager
  • Professional management of existing customers over the entire product life cycle including the identification of further business opportunities
  • Protect the profit margins of FARO Creaform by adding value; rather than discounting and by organizing efficient travel

Qualification

Required

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field
  • 1-5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technological environment
  • Have a strong interest for high technology and towards learning about technological products
  • Have experience in a technical field, sales and/or customer support
  • This position requires the ability to maintain a valid U.S. driver's license and meet the company's driving eligibility requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • This position requires the ability to safely lift, move, or position materials weighing up to 90 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
