The Account Manager will leverage business acumen and sales expertise to manage major accounts and drive long-term growth across a diverse portfolio of FARO Creaform solutions.
Demonstrate FARO Creaform technology to interested and / or potential customers
Participation to trade shows, technical events, open-house, sales meetings and other sales events
Ensure steady and organized follow-up on sales opportunities through emails, phone calls, etc. to ensure the expected level of sales and a sales cycle as compact as possible by using the CRM system
Clearly identify and communicate all customer needs and specifications in order for the ISS to prepare the quote
Act as point of contact and provide technical support and regular follow-ups to potential customers during the evaluation period
Report progress of all ongoing sales activities on a weekly basis during team opportunity-review, provide sales forecast and participate to forecast review meetings
Develop a large network of contacts and clients within the designated territory in teamwork with the Strategic Account Manager and the Sales Manager
Professional management of existing customers over the entire product life cycle including the identification of further business opportunities
Protect the profit margins of FARO Creaform by adding value; rather than discounting and by organizing efficient travel
Qualification
Required
Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field
1-5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technological environment
Have a strong interest for high technology and towards learning about technological products
Have experience in a technical field, sales and/or customer support
This position requires the ability to maintain a valid U.S. driver's license and meet the company's driving eligibility requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
This position requires the ability to safely lift, move, or position materials weighing up to 90 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
