American Precision Industries Inc is hiring an Application Engineer to provide technical guidance on Nook and Thomson products. The role translates customer requirements into product recommendations, coordinates with internal teams, and supports troubleshooting, customized proposals, and sales objectives.
Provide accurate and timely product selection guidance based on customer requirements
Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, including Product Design, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment and smooth execution
Communicate professionally across multiple channels, including phone, email, video conferencing
Deliver basic post‑sales support, including troubleshooting and resolving technical inquiries
Leverage internal resources (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Shipping) to address and resolve customer needs
Prepare and document pricing proposals for modified or customized product configurations
Support field sales teams in managing accounts and driving product direction, profitability, growth, and achievement of sales objectives
Contribute to the development of standard procedures and policies that promote lean office practices and performance metrics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
Solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication and presentation abilities
