The Inside Sales Representative role focuses on developing strategic business plans, achieving sales goals, and building strong relationships with customers while utilizing various software tools to enhance productivity.
Develops strategic business plans for assigned territory that is consistent with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives
Meets and exceeds key performance indicator expectations while demonstrating excellent communication skills both listening and verbal articulation
Achieves quarterly sales goals with aligned targets
Develops pre-call strategy for aligned targets
Demonstrates success in influencing and negotiation skills
Learns and applies in-depth product knowledge, including information about relevant disease states, and effectively communicates this information to customer to support informed decision making
Develops and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with customers, coworkers, and colleagues across different teams and leadership levels within the organization. This involves fostering open communication, building trust, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of goals
Effectively utilizes software platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Zoom and CRM software to complete daily tasks. This includes managing data, coordinating communications, and leveraging these tools to enhance productivity and ensure timely completion of work
Proactively pursues continuous learning and professional development on sales impact, communication, and product knowledge
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a BS/BA degree
Preferred candidate will have minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent listening and comprehension abilities to effectively understand and convey information
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required
Preferred
Knowledge of professional sales, territory management and marketing of pharmaceutical products preferred
