OXB is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in cell and gene therapy. The Inside Sales Representative generates and qualifies business opportunities for OXB’s CDMO services, supports revenue growth, and coordinates with Business Development and Marketing teams to advance the sales pipeline.
Generate and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, inbound enquiries, marketing campaigns, referrals, and industry events
Identify and engage biotech and pharmaceutical companies with CDMO service requirements
Build strong relationships with prospective clients and understand their development, manufacturing, and commercial needs
Qualify opportunities by assessing project requirements, timelines, decision-makers, and fit with company capabilities
Coordinate introductory meetings between prospective clients and Business Development Directors to support pipeline progression
Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity pipelines, forecasting, and sales activity reporting
Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams on lead generation initiatives, industry events, and market intelligence to drive business growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
1–2 years of inside sales, business development, lead generation, or account development experience
Experience within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, or CDMO industry
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate customer needs into commercial opportunities
Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics
