Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Engineer to develop cloud-based solutions for some of DOD's toughest problems. The role involves designing secure communications networks and leading teams to enhance client environments using cloud capabilities.
Design a secure, cloud-based communications network to support mission-critical operations
Recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources
Lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud
Broaden your skill set in areas like automation while developing critical systems for the government
Qualification
Required
2 years of experience with administering Windows and Linux operating systems
2 years of experience with supporting and administering engineering tools, including 3Dexperience, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, Model Center, Team Center, MATLAB, or STK or CAD tools, including CATIA or SolidWorks
1 years of experience with cloud computing, including Amazon Web Services GovCloud or Commercial
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
IAT Level II 8570 Certification, including Security certification
Preferred
Experience in scripting tools and languages, including Ansible, Terraform, or Python
Experience in standing up and configuring engineering tools on new and existing infrastructure
Experience in developing and automating tools and infrastructure in the cloud
Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread
Knowledge of DoD Security best practices and compliance requirements
