The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Systems Analyst I is responsible for defining systems scope and objectives, implementing accumulator files, and ensuring alignment on project deliverables while collaborating with stakeholders and vendors.
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements
Implementing inbound and outbound accumulator files related to claim cost shares across various health plans
Developing a comprehensive understanding of business rules, core platforms, and applications for data used in EDI exchanges
Supporting design and implementation of end-to-end frameworks for processing accumulator exchanges
Facilitating and leading discussions with plans and stakeholders to identify and clarify requirements, review test cases, and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables
Developing documentation outlining business rules, process flows, and technical specifications
Conducting end-to-end testing
Working with vendors on implementation or connectivity related to EDI systems
Troubleshooting conversion or system issues
Working in some phases of EDI systems analysis
Collaborating with IT for EDI enhancements or conversion of new accounts
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
Minimum 2 years of related healthcare experience including EDI and ANSI experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations
Experience with EDI

Informatica
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Beginner to intermediate SQL skills
