Responsibilities

Write detailed test cases based on functional requirements and user stories, and perform manual testing as needed
Develop and load testing plans into appropriate test management tools
Participate in defect review meetings and project routines, providing analysis on defect trends and re-testing outcomes
Source, compile, and interpret data to assess system performance and quality
Analyze data for accuracy and efficiency, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
Contribute to risk mitigation by thoroughly testing and validating existing programs, policies, and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and adherence to quality standards
Assist in the development and refinement of testing strategies, including automation and UI testing methodologies
Utilize tools such as Jira, X-ray, Postman, SoapUI, and various RDBMS for defect tracking, API testing, and data validation
Support DevOps and CI/CD practices by integrating testing processes with tools like Git, Jenkins, and GitLab
Maintain and enhance testing automation scripts using Selenium, WebDriver, and scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or JavaScript
Stay updated with emerging testing tools and methodologies, and continuously improve testing practices

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of Quality Assurance experience in a Financial Services organization
OR High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of Quality Assurance experience in a Financial Services organization
