The Software Developer will contribute across the software development life cycle to design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain Navy combat identification systems and IFF interfaces.
Conducting innovative software development solutions for various Navy identification systems
Executing scientific, engineering, and technical services required for the design, development, integration, and testing of combat systems
Analyzing technology and capability gaps to research, develop, and deploy software solutions
Collaborating with other developers and project leads to design, optimize, and define associated deliverables
Conducting integration, testing, bug fixes, and other software maintenance activities
Assisting in the creation of technical documentation and user guides in support of developed software
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
1+ years of experience in software development
Experience programming in Linux
Experience with C/C++
Must be a US Citizen and possess a current or active Secret Security Clearance
Preferred
Experience using Wireshark and Eclipse IDE for development
Experience using SVN for source code configuration management
