The selected candidate will support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense Weapon System program by developing automation related software products and conducting testing in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • You will build SW products assigned by your leadership related to test automation of requirement verification efforts at the system level
  • Develop software in an Agile environment
  • Develop and conduct testing in HWIL environment
  • Automate current manual test procedures

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 Years Experience; 0-2 Years Experience with Masters or with PhD
  • Experience with components of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment
  • Professional software development experience using Python, Bash or similar languages
  • Familiarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
  • Applicants must possess good communication skills
  • Capable of working both independently and within team environments
  • Applicants must be able to work on-site, in office
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs
  • Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start

Preferred

  • Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science discipline(s)
  • Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with product teams
  • Experience in software development related to Test Automation
  • Experience using Jenkins and Eggplant
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
  • Current Security+ certification
