Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Hazelwood, MO for the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, and safety standards.
Design, develop, and maintain tests in a .Net Framework and .Net 8/10 environment
Create test plans and cases based on program requirements
Execute manual exploratory testing
Write automation scripts to automate testing efforts
Document identified defects in bug tracking system and verify implemented fixes
Track quality assurance metrics (defect density, open defects, time to resolution, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Active U.S. Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
Ability to meet DoD 8140 Program Foundational qualifications
1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
Proficiency with modern scripting or programming language(s) (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, .Net etc.)
Strong analytical skills
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Preferred
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience OR 10+ years of related, relevant experience
Bachelor's degree earned in one of the following concentrations: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
