SAIC provides scientific, engineering, and systems integration and technical services and solutions in the United States. They are seeking a Software Tester for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program, responsible for providing IT support to military systems and testing new software and technology.
Work on deployable IT systems that communicate over satellite.
Testing of new software and technology.
Creation of trouble tickets and reporting of issues and actions taken daily and weekly.
Communicate effectively with test directors and other personnel via phone, email, chat, etc.
Maintaining test materials and documentation as required
Training computer users and assistants.
Qualification
Required
Bachelors and 0 years’ experience. (4 years’ experience accepted in lieu of degree)
DoD 8570 Baseline Cybersecurity Certification such as CompTIA Security+ (must have prior to hire)
IAT Level II or above certification in addition to baseline cyber certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
Experience working in a Linux environment
Familiarity with Windows Server 2019, or newer
Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows Roles and Features related to Enterprise services
Security+ certification
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance will be required prior to first day of employment.
