Writes, tests, and documents technical work products (e.g., code, scripts, processes) according to organizational standards and practices
Consistently produces good quality technical work products that are clear, concise, tested, and easily understood by others
Efficiently debugs design-time and run-time problems and effectively identifies problems in dependencies or caused by interactions with other services
Designs new implementations and provides enhancements to existing architectures, maintaining reliability, resiliency, security, and performance
Identifies and corrects issues with system components affecting operational reliability, stability and performance based on observable telemetry
Understands and follows secure coding practices to avoid known potential vulnerabilities and actively looks for vulnerabilities during code reviews
Identifies opportunities for automation that improve team performance and raises them to the team
Consistently identifies and capitalizes on opportunities for simplification
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
1+ years of experience as a Mobile Software Engineer, Android and iOS Engineer, or similar role
Experience with the following technologies: Programming Languages: Swift and Java/Kotlin, React JS, React Native
Experience with the following technologies: Frameworks: Jetpack Compose, Firebase, Apple Push Notification Services
Experience with the following technologies: Source Control: GitHub
Experience with the following technologies: CICD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
Experience with the following technologies: Integration/APIs Technologies: RESTful API, JSON, and XML data formats
Experience with the following technologies: Cloud Providers such as Azure and AWS
Experience with the following technologies: Test Automation: Espresso, UI Automator, JUnit, Appium
Ability to concisely convey ideas verbally, in writing, in code, and in diagrams
Ability to optimize mobile app performance, ensuring efficiency and responsiveness across a wide range of devices while meeting security and privacy standards
Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM
Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
