Praxent is hiring for product design roles within its US-based Design Department. The roles involve designing user experiences, developing UX/UI solutions, conducting user research, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams, and leading design engagements at varying levels of seniority.
Designs user experiences for well-defined projects with guidance. Participates in sprints, creates wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes, and collaborates with the team to follow best practices
Owns design deliverables for complex projects with minimal oversight. Develops UI/UX solutions, conducts user research, iterates based on feedback, and mentors junior designers
Delivers “case-study worthy” experiences. Elicits and communicates business value, anticipates risks, improves team processes, and coaches other designers
Leads design engagements end-to-end. Facilitates workshops, resolves complex design challenges, ensures quality deliverables, and drives innovation across projects
Oversees multiple design engagements. Ensures consistent quality, guides teams, identifies training opportunities, and supports portfolio-level design delivery

Applicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.)
International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in product design, UX/UI, human-centered design, or a related field
Proficiency in UX/UI design principles, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
Ability to translate business goals and user needs into intuitive, functional, and visually compelling designs. Able to identify user pain points, propose innovative solutions, and iterate based on feedback
Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. Able to present design rationale clearly and persuasively
Comfortable managing multiple projects, iterations, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience in Agile or software delivery environments preferred
Experience participating in or facilitating Agile rituals is a plus
Familiarity with front-end frameworks or design handoff to engineering teams is a plus
