Wolf Advanced Technology (WOLF) is a leader in designing and developing rugged, field-deployable solutions for military and aerospace markets. They are seeking a full-time UI/UX Designer to create user experiences that enhance workflows and support internal applications and business systems, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to design intuitive digital tools.
Create wireframes, prototypes, dashboards, forms, and interfaces that simplify complex workflows
Translate technical and business needs into clean, practical, and user-friendly designs
Partner with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand users and improve digital experiences
Apply responsive design principles and accessibility best practices across applications
Help develop and maintain reusable components, UI standards, and design systems
Prepare design assets, specifications, and documentation that enable efficient implementation
Document user journeys, interface behaviour, and design decisions to support continuous improvement
Support automation, AI-enabled initiatives, and digital transformation projects across the organization
Qualification
Required
Recent or upcoming graduate with a degree or diploma in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
Hands-on experience using modern UI/UX design tools to create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces
Understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, usability best practices, and the fundamentals of designing effective digital experiences that balance user needs with technical requirements
Comfortable working in a collaborative technical environment where you'll interact with software developers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design solutions that improve workflows, usability, and operational efficiency
Experience using Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design and prototyping platforms
Ability to create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes
Understanding of responsive layouts and designing across desktop and web-based environments
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices
Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and usability fundamentals
Ability to consider user needs, workflows, and business objectives when developing solutions
Experience preparing design specifications, user flows, and development handoff materials
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or similar technologies is considered an asset
Experience with C#, .NET, Blazor, Power BI, or related Microsoft technologies is an asset
Exposure to designing dashboards, enterprise software, or data-driven applications is highly desirable
Interest in automation, AI-enabled tools, and process improvement initiatives
Ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders throughout the design process
Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for designing intuitive digital experiences that make complex systems easier to use
Provide valid documentation to show Canadian or US citizenship or Canadian Permanent Residency
Undergo a police check with no criminal background
