Techcyte is looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer who can create intuitive, engaging, and user-centered designs for digital products and services. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that the end users have a seamless and enjoyable experience while interacting with our company's digital platforms.
Conduct user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and preferences
Use research findings to inform design decisions and validate design solutions
Develop site maps, user flows, and navigation structures to create a logical and intuitive user experience
Organize content and functionality in a way that enhances usability and findability
Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to illustrate design concepts and interactions
Define and document interaction patterns and design guidelines for consistent user experiences
Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and identify areas for improvement
Collect and analyze user feedback and iterate on designs based on test results
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and visual designers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions
Collaborate on defining product requirements, feature prioritization, and design specifications
Advocate for user-centered design principles and methodologies throughout the product development process
Continuously stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 2-4 years relevant industry experience
An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or Graphic Design
Proficiency in user research techniques, such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing
Expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure)
Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on user experience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and rationale
Strong problem-solving abilities and a user-centered mindset
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design
A portfolio showcasing case studies, including research, wireframes, prototypes, and shipped products
