Google is a leading technology company that focuses on user-centered design. They are seeking a UX Researcher to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand user needs and improve enterprise advertising platforms through various research methods.
Plan, conduct, measure, analyze, and clearly present user research, collaborating closely with other Researchers, Design, Product Management, and Engineering teams to help inform the direction of complex enterprise advertising tools.
Conduct research specifically centered on the needs, workflows, and pain points of users engaging with enterprise-level platforms.
Help identify and frame UX research questions that align with business goals for enterprise advertisers.
Drive change by clearly articulating research findings with actionable insights to cross-functional audiences through written reports, presentations, and collaboration.
Support efforts to build a shared understanding of our large advertiser and agency users.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Information Science, Statistics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in an applied research setting (e.g., product or academic), or similar.
Experience executing research studies utilizing various qualitative methods (e.g., usability studies, in-depth interviews, contextual inquiry, etc.).
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
3 years of experience in an applied research setting, or a related field (e.g., product research, design research).
Experience with mixed-methods research, including designing and analyzing large-scale surveys or utilizing existing data (logs, metrics) alongside qualitative findings.
Experience conducting research with enterprise users or for complex B2B, advertising, or fintech products.
Knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including when and how to appropriately apply them during the product development process.
