Tyson Foods is seeking an Analytics Analyst to turn category, sales, consumer, and market data into persuasive insights for Tyson leadership and Walmart merchants. The role focuses on analyzing Walmart business metrics, monitoring market and competitive trends, producing reports and dashboards, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
Present data-driven insights and business recommendations clearly and persuasively, to Tyson leadership and to Walmart merchants
Investigate Walmart’s business metrics, including sales trends, new item performance, shopper behavior, and competitive benchmarking, using syndicated data
Produce and publish daily, weekly, and quarterly reports for team leaders and customers, plus ad hoc analysis on short turnaround
Grow into the team’s go-to resource for Walmart Scintilla, using it to surface insights that benefit both Walmart and Tyson Foods
Partner with cross-functional teams to break down complex business questions and drive them to an answer
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Marketing Research, or a related field
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build a clear, persuasive PowerPoint deck
Comfortable presenting findings, in writing and in person, to senior stakeholders
Ability to translate consumer insights into recommendations that drive business results
Working knowledge of syndicated retail measurement data and consumer panels
This is an in-person role based in Springdale, Arkansas, and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work

Preferred
1 year of experience with a branded consumer-goods company, or a combination of supplier-side and manufacturer-side experience, preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Circana, Scintilla, or NielsenIQ experience preferred; familiarity with Claude, Copilot, or other AI tools a plus
Experience with marketplace data outside of CPG is valued
