Kyndryl designs, builds, manages, and modernizes mission-critical technology systems. The company is seeking a User Interface Designer to create clear, intuitive, accessible, and visually cohesive interfaces for digital products, translating product intent and user needs into production-ready designs. The role involves independent design execution and collaboration with design, delivery, product, and engineering teams from concept through implementation.
Design user interfaces for web or digital applications
Apply visual hierarchy, layout, typography, color, and interaction design principles
Design at the skeleton and surface levels of the experience
Use industry standard design and prototyping tools
Apply and contribute to design systems and component libraries
Translate requirements into clear, production ready interface designs
Collaborate with cross functional teams in a product or delivery environment
Design for accessibility and inclusive design standards
Conduct usability testing and incorporate findings into interface design
Work closely with front end engineers during implementation
Design for enterprise or complex digital products
Qualification
Required
Experience designing user interfaces for web or digital applications
Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, color, and interaction design
Ability to design at the skeleton and surface levels of the experience
Proficiency with industry standard design and prototyping tools
Experience applying and contributing to design systems and component libraries
Ability to translate requirements into clear, production ready interface designs
Experience collaborating with cross functional teams in a product or delivery environment
Preferred
Experience designing for accessibility and inclusive design standards
Familiarity with usability testing and incorporating findings into interface design
Experience working closely with front end engineers during implementation
Exposure to enterprise or complex digital products
