Fulgent Genetics is a premier, full-service genomic testing company focused on transforming patient care. The Web Designer – UI/UX will be responsible for designing aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly websites and portals, while also supporting collateral development to meet product marketing and business goals.
Design and develop visually appealing and intuitive websites and portals. Ensure that all designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes
Apply best practices in UI/UX to create engaging and efficient user experiences. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback. Use this data to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business objectives. Participate in regular team meetings and design reviews. Develop and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards
Design, develop, and update print/digital collateral consistent with company brand identity and messaging
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion. Ensure that all designs are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
One plus year of proven experience in web design with a portfolio showcasing UI/UX skills
Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent
Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, but not essential
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Knowledge of SEO principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility issues
